Naoum Jamous, studierte Informatik- Informationssysteme und promovierte im Bereich Wirtschaftsinformatik am Institut für Technische und Betriebliche Informationssysteme (ITI) an der Fakultät für Informatik der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg (OVGU).
Seit 2008 ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Arbeitsgruppe Wirtschaftsinformatik der Fakultät für Informatik an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität (OVGU) in Magdeburg tätig. Darüber hinaus hielt Dr. Jamous mehrere Vorträge als Gastdozent an zahlreichen Universitäten weltweit und ist Lehrbeauftragter der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität (OVGU) in Magdeburg. Das Business Informatics Competence Centre (BICC) wird seit dem Jahr 2015 von Dr. Jamous koordiniert.
Als Projektmananger und Berater erlangte Dr. Jamous seit 2012 praktische Erfahrungen, durch zahlreiche internationale und nationale Projekte in Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität und zahlreichen Firmen. Er ist Mitglied der internationalen wissenschaftlichen Kongresse und ein Rezensent von verschiedenen nationalen und internationalen wissenschaftlichen Kongressen und Fachzeitschriften.
Sein Forschungsinteresse liegt im IT-Projektmanagement, IT-Operation Management, Informationssystem Architektur, Untersuchung und Analyse von Geschäftsprozessmodellierung, Management in der IKT-Infrastrukturen und ERP-Technologien. Seine Doktorarbeit befasste sich mit den Umweltinformationssystemen (EMIS) für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU).
