In the course of the develppment, scheduling and realization of robot manufacturing sites for car body construction, steadily rising demands for technologies and application become apparent. As a result, due to the divergence in the development environments of the robot manufacturers, deviations in the software quality occur.
To meet these demands and to create a basis for the standardized and comparable quality assessment of the applied software, a standardized software quality concept has been developed. Subsequently, this concept was transferred to a concrete application of robot manufacturing sites of the BMW GROUP and evaluated.
