From 8 to 12 December 2014, the project managers Patrick Wirz (OVGU), Karin Reissenauer (UCT), Prof. Lisa Seymour (UCT) and other contributors of the ESEFA project (Enterprise Systems Education For Africa) had met to evaluate the current project status and to exchange information and experience of the project planning at the University of Cape Town. In addition, the project leaders took the opportunity to join the introductory ES Fundamentals Course for lecturers. In this case, there was also the possibility of knowledge exchange between UCC and UCT. About 20 participants from different universities of Namibia, Botswana and Zambia participated in the Enterprise Systems Fundamentals Course for lecturers, which qualifies lecturers to train students in IT fundamentals at the respective university locations.
