ESEFA is currently very committed to promote its program for a sustainable Enterprise Systems education at African universities. A main objective is getting more ambitious universities on board to build long-standing partnerships and a cross-national network of universities. On 1 April, ESEFA took a further step towards intensifying its ties with potential partner universities. During a project presentation at the premises of the University of Dar es Salaam the ESEFA team around Dr. Lisa Seymour (UCT), Gwamaka Mwalemba (UCT) and Patrick Wirz (OVGU) could catch the interest of about 25 participants, among them Dr. Wineaster Anderson, dean of the University of Dar es Salaam Business School (UDBS) and Dr. Tumsifu Elly, lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam. While ESEFA introduced central aspects, ranging from project set-up to implementation, the University of Dar es Salaam expressed a great interest in cooperation with ESEFA as a future partner university. Major emphasis was put on the presentation of the curriculum, which was intensively discussed in a subsequent formal conversation. This event was topped off with a business dinner providing participants the opportunity to engage in a lively exchange of ideas.
